Reynaers scoops a win at prestigious G14 Awards


Leading provider of innovative aluminium windows and doors Reynaers was the proud winner of ‘Promotional campaign of the year - Trade’ at the G14 Awards for a provocative advertising campaign.
  
The architectural glazing company won the prestigious award for its ‘Energy Efficiency Doesn’t Matter’ campaign, and received recognition for innovation, development and commitment within the glazing industry at the annual event.

More than 560 people from leading companies across the glass and glazing industry attended the G14 Awards Presentation and Gala Dinner on November 21 at the London Hilton on Park Lane, hosted by Kevin Bridges.

REYNAERS BRINGS INNOVATION AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY TO ‘MOST SIGNIFICANT’ LONDON REGENERATION PROJECT

Aluminium window solutions by Reynaers are bringing aesthetically-pleasing designs, innovative structures, strength and optimised energy efficiency to two new residential housing blocks in King’s Cross Central. The new buildings are part of an affordable housing scheme in one of the most significant sites of development and regeneration in Central London.

Each high-density block’s design includes outdoor communal spaces, roof gardens and balconies to create a sense of community for residents. Rubicon Court by PRP architects was the first completed building, with 117 mixed tenure spaces above approximately 600 m² of street level space for commercial premises and shops. The neighbouring block comprises Saxon Court and Roseberry Mansions by Maccreanor Lavington Architects, a cohesive urban block of 220 homes built around a shared courtyard.

BREEAM ‘EXCELLENT’ RATING FOR DEFINING COMMUNITY HOSPITAL

Finchley’s new Memorial Hospital and Walk-in Centre achieves a BREEAM ‘excellent’ rating, meeting environmental and sustainability targets central to the development of a community hospital.
 
On the site of the former hospital it features Reynaers façade and fenestration systems throughout, contributing to the energy efficiency of this primary and social care facility for Barnet NHS Trust. A new community hospital designed by Murphy Phillips Architects it fully embraces and sets the standard for the new Department of Health guidance for flexible and adaptable healthcare facilities. The layout is based around generic modular clinical rooms and clusters reflecting the Health Building Notes for Primary and Community Care. Developed as part of a health campus, in conjunction with SHINE, the hospital delivers an environmentally responsible and sustainable contribution to the local surroundings and community.

BIM - REYNAERS LAUNCHES ITS BUILDING INFORMATION MODELLING LIBRARY

Based on Autodesk® Revit, Reynaers BIM system provides fully compatible models of Reynaers systems for integration into building designs, plans, and simulation. Accessible via the Reynaers Extranet, the library includes product data, operation details, maintenance information, guarantee data and relevant web links all in a downloadable digital format.
